The paper is split equally between the common professional/general domains ($100\text{ Marks}$) and the candidate’s specialized subject domain ($100\text{ Marks}$).

Qualifications / Experience

• Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject with $1\text{ Year}$ post-qualification teaching experience at the College/University level.
• OR M.Phil Degree in the relevant subject with $3\text{ Years}$ post-qualification teaching experience at the College/University level.
• OR Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with $5\text{ Years}$ post-qualification teaching experience at the College/University level.

Scheme of Test

• Total Marks: $200\text{ Marks (MCQs)}$
• Part-I: $100\text{ Marks (MCQ)}$
• Part-II: $100\text{ Marks (MCQ)}$
• Qualifying Standard: $50\%$
• Note: Standard negative marking of $-0.25$ $\left(-\frac{1}{4}\right)$ marks applies per incorrect answer.

The English section carries $40\text{ Marks}$ and evaluates academic communication, vocabulary, and grammar precision:
