What is a PBL?
At its core, a PBL is a student-centered instructional strategy. Instead of a professor lecturing at you for an hour, you are presented with a clinical case (the Problem) first.
Seven Jumps:

Clarify Terms: Read the case and make sure everyone knows what the words actually mean.

Define the Problem: Identify the patient’s primary complaints.

Brainstorm: Discuss what you already know (or think you know).

Hypothesize: Group the symptoms into possible diagnoses or physiological malfunctions.

Identify Learning Objectives: Realize what you don’t know. These become your study goals.

Independent Study: Everyone goes away to research those objectives.

Synthesis: Reconvvene to share findings and “solve” the case
