History of the Periodic Table
The periodic table of the elements is a table of the chemical elements arranged in order of their increasing atomic number. The history of the periodic table spans far more than thirteen centuries with major contributions made by Abū Bakr al-Rāzī, Antoine Lavoisier, Johann Wolfgang Döbereiner, John Newlands, Julius Lothar Meyer, Dmitri Mendeleev, Henry Moseley, and others.
